These Terms govern your use of Yo Human, a service operated by Brian Fischer, a sole proprietor doing business as ("DBA") Yo Human ("Yo Human," "we," "us"). By joining the beta or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Yo Human sends a notification to your phone when your AI coding assistant (such as Claude Code) finishes, needs your approval, or hits an error. It works by adding notification rules on your own computer that send a message to your private notification Channel.
Yo Human is currently in free beta. It is provided "as is" and "as available." It may change, pause, or break, and features may be added or removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every notification will be delivered.
As thanks for testing and giving feedback, founding testers will receive their first year free and 50% off for life if and when paid plans launch. This offer applies to the founding-tester program, is personal to you, and is subject to the product reaching a paid launch.
Notifications are delivered through third-party services (such as ntfy). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yo Human disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the service at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yo Human and Brian Fischer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost time, data, profits, or actions taken by your tools, arising from your use of the service. Because the beta is provided free of charge, total liability is limited to the amount you paid (which is $0 during the beta).
Your use of Yo Human is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
You may stop using Yo Human at any time by removing its notification rules from your computer. We may suspend or end the beta, or your access, at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [your state], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Set your jurisdiction before launch.)
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify beta participants.
